Foxpro Mac
Hi, haveanemac, and welcome to Apple Discussions. FoxPro 2.6 for the Mac was released thirteen years ago and replaced by v. 3 eleven years ago. I haven't heard of anyone trying to use it in nearly that long, and it must have been discontinued a long time ago, too. It would surprise me if v. 2.6 ran in OS 9, and it would surprise me a lot more if it ran in Classic mode under OS X.
You would certainly be better off, since you're learning a new computer and operating system anyway, to switch to a modern database management application that was written for the Mac and OS X, such as FileMaker. The current generation of Macs doesn't run Classic at all, so even if you could get FoxPro up and running on your eMac, you'd have to switch apps with the purchase of your next computer.
